Choosing your wedding vendors for your big day can be overwhelming so here are some helpful reminders I like to tell my couples!

Tip 1 - Research

If you don’t know where to start, asking friends or family for referrals is great. From there google searches in your local area and then using instagram hashtags like #wisconsinweddingphotographer or even searching facebook(under pages). Facebook groups like “Wisconsin Brides” is an amazing resource as well. Whichever way you found yourself to Jaxlens Photography, I am so glad you are here!

Tip 2 - Check Portfolios

Looking at your vendors past work is important to see if you connect with their style and services! Websites, social media, or emailing your vendor asking to see photo galleries of recent work can help give perspective.

Tip 3 - Call or Video Chat

It is so important to connect with the people who will be with you on your wedding day. Having a phone call or facetime is a great way to get to know each other and see if your personalities blend well and you want to invest in their business. You want to be able to find the best fit for your big day!

Tip 4 - Go With What Feels Right

It can be tough to know what vendors to choose for your wedding day. What is most important is going with what feels right to you. Talk with your partner and spend time thinking about all the factors, financially, personality styles, portfolios and gauge what you value most from that.
