Eloping in the Midwest : Lion's Den - Wisconsin

You wouldn’t normally think Eloping in the Midwest would be the go to plan. However, there are gorgeous places in Wisconsin to say your vows and have the perfect day.

Lions Den Nature Preserve near Milwaukee Wisconsin is where this couple decided they wanted to capture their love for one another and their love for nature. These wooded trails leading to the Lake Michigan shoreline were a beautiful balance of backdrops.

We went late November and so the weather was cold but the trails were not packed which was a bonus to be able to adventure around.

If couples are choosing to do a backyard ceremony, courthouse or airbnb wedding day, they can think about having their romantic photos taken at Lion’s Den while afterward heading to dinner in the city to meet up with family.
