An elopement doesn’t have to be rushed or minimal.
It can be layered, spacious, and deeply intentional.
Coulpes can choose to have their photo coverage be a consecutive 8 hours or (my favorite) a split day!!
Here’s what an 8-hour day can look like when you split it between a private morning adventure and an intimate evening ceremony with family.
Let me paint the picture for you.
Your day starts slow. Coffee in hand. Music playing. You’re getting ready in your Airbnb or cabin without rushing anywhere. I’m there capturing the little in-between moments…the anticipation of the day ahead.
You share a private first look, then we head to location #1, somewhere beautiful like a lookout, a cliffside, a stretch of shoreline, a place that makes you both exhale. You exchange personal vows, just the two of you. No pressure. No audience. Just presence. Afterward, we explore a little. Maybe it’s a short hike, a walk along the water, or simply wandering somewhere new together. It feels playful and free like you’re on an adventure, not a schedule. (This mini adventure time can be as grand or simple of an adventure as you’d like)
Then we pause.
You grab lunch. Rest. Journal. Pray. Nap. Just be. This break keeps the day feeling intentional instead of overwhelming. ( I leave you two and catch up with you later!)
Later, we gather your closest people for a sunset ceremony at location #2. Warm light. Meaningful vows. The people who matter most surrounding you. We’ll keep family portraits simple and relaxed, maybe cut a small cake or pop champagne, then sneak away one last time to chase golden hour.
It’s layered. It’s spacious. It’s intimate and celebratory all at once.
You get sacred private vows, a little adventure, time to breathe, and a sunset your family gets to witness.
And I’ll be there to guide gently, capturing honestly, and making sure it feels like you. 🤍

10:00 AM – First Look
Private first look outside or near your lodging. Emotional portraits.
10:30 AM – Travel to Private Vow Location
Scenic drive or short walk to a lookout, cliffside, forest clearing, or shoreline.
11:00 AM – Private Vow Exchange
Just the two of you. Unrushed vows and portraits afterward.
11:45 AM – Mini Adventure
Short hike, exploring, wandering, sailing, or relaxed movement portraits.
1:00 PM – Morning Coverage Wrap

Midday Break (I will leave the two of you to enjoy downtime and meet back up later!)
