Wisconsin elopement photographer

So you’ve decided to elope in Wisconsin!

You want a day that feels deeply personal, meaningful, and connected to nature. You know your faith is the foundation of your relationship, and you want your wedding day to reflect that. Not in the size of the celebration, but in the quiet, meaningful moments that reveal your love for God, your love for each other, and your shared awe for the world He’s created.

You know your elopement day should be that perfect blend of faith and adventure. Whether it’s hiking along the ice age trail, kayaking across still waters in the wisconsin dells, or standing together on a cliffside in door county as the sun sets, this day is a reflection of your adventurous spirits and spirit-led hearts!

But, now that you are planning a faith-centered day, you're unsure how to blend eloping with honoring god…

Planning your elopement doesn’t have to be stressful. I’m here to help guide you along the way!

That’s where I come in! I’m your creative guide, adventure sidekick, and faith-led friend all in one.

Your elopement isn’t about escaping tradition; it’s about embracing intention. It’s the stillness of a sunrise vow exchange, the peace of praying together before saying your “I do’s,” and the joy of spending the day fully present with one another. It’s about slowing down and experiencing your wedding as it’s meant to be, authentic, heartfelt, and sacred.

God’s isn’t just in churches…

and Your ceremony doesn’t have to be either. God’s presence isn’t confined to four walls. He’s in the quiet of the mountains, the strength of the trees around you, and the way the light hits the landscape in a way that just feels right. When you say your vows out in His creation, you’re standing in the very beauty He spoke into existence.

As your wisconsin photographer, I’m here to support you through every step. From helping you communicate your heart behind this choice, to finding the perfect location that feels both peaceful and awe-inspiring, to crafting a timeline that lets you slow down and savor each moment. I’ll help you create a day that’s not only beautiful to photograph, but deeply honoring to your faith, your story, and your connection.

Because your elopement isn’t just about where you go, it’s about how it feels.

Here’s how i center faith while also keeping stress from planning your elopement.

Faith-Led Planning

With laid-back planning calls, easy questionnaires, and intentional conversations about what your faith means to you, i’ll learn what matters most and craft an elopement experience that feels intentional and uniquely yours.

Location Scouting

Whether you know the specific spot, general area or are wide open, I will do the leg work on scoping out stunning locations that blend privacy, sightseeing and fall in line with what you both desire.

Permit Research

It all depends on the location you choose! If you're thinking about eloping in a National Park, State Park, or BLM land you can definitely plan on needing a permit. We'll need to apply for these at least 60 days in advance, so let's plan your date accordingly!

Custom Timeline

When we have a timeline call (which is one of my favorite calls) you will walk away feeling like the pieces are coming together and you can finally envision your elopement day! It’s the best and gets couples excited and puts minds at ease having a better understanding of the flow of your day.

Packing Lists

I’m an organized creative type so lists are a must! You’ll receive a packing list that will help keep things organized as you prepare for the big adventure.

Experience-Driven

Whether you want to go big (helicopter tours, kayaking adventures) or include sweet intentional moments like picnics or champagne pops I’m here to generate ideas that will inspire and connect with you as you say I do!

Lodging Guidance

Think cute aesthetic airbnb’s! I love researching fun and unique places to stay. Depending on where you want to go, I am happy to do some research and provide some lodging ideas.

FREQUENTLY ASKED questions

  • I suggest booking about six months ahead of your elopement date! Many couples reserve their spot with me nearly a year out, while others plan just a few months in advance. A six-to-twelve-month window is the sweet spot to lock in your ideal date, location, vendors, and lodging.

  • Every elopement tells its own story, but you can expect around 50–100 photos per hour of coverage. I’ll include all the genuine, joy-filled moments—only skipping duplicates or images that don’t reflect my quality standards, so every photo you receive is intentional and true to your day.

  • 2 weeks for sneak preview- I like to give a healthy amount of images that give a trailer preview of the day!

    2-3 months full gallery

I deliver all of my clients work on an online gallery site. Beautiful galleries and user friendly! I included edited jpeg images that clients can download low-res (web size) or high-res (print size). I definitely recommend to all of my clients to download the entire high-res gallery upon delivery onto a usb thumb drive or protected place for your images to be backed up.

  • Totally depends! Some couples hike in their wedding gear, others change once we get there—it really comes down to your outfit, the trail, and how comfortable you are. Good hiking shoes are a must either way! And no worries, I’ve got a pop-up tent for changing if you’d rather have a little privacy at the viewpoint.

  • Absolutely! I travel anywhere in the U.S. for elopements and intimate weddings. If you’ve got a dream location in mind, I’d love to hear about it—let’s see if we can bring it to life together!

  • It all depends on the location you choose! If you're thinking about eloping in a National Park, State Park, or BLM land you can definitely plan on needing a permit. We'll need to apply for these at least 60 days in advance, so let's plan your date accordingly!

  • Yes! It is absolutely possible. I love it when family and friends are present! I'm happy to accommodate up to 15 guests and find ways to include them! The more guests, the more logistics, which is why we just need to know a number to make sure we can collaborate on location.

  • I do not! I specialize in elopements and intimate weddings (anything under 50 guests) and are no longer taking on larger-scale weddings. There are some incredible traditional wedding photographers out there who can give you beautiful photos.
